The message from LSU

    I don't know any more than anyone else, but my money is on ASU saying "we play in Tempe, or we don't play!" LSU coaches, I would think, realize that we need a game much more than we need a location.

    It still makes little to no sense to me why the game couldn't be played in Oxford.

    Yes, it is horrible that the ASU folks came and visted Baton Rouge and told LSU that they will play in Baton Rouge if LSU wanted to or accomadate us any other way LSU wished, that they agreed to donate all of the income after expenses to the hurricane relief effort and agreed to a return visit in the future. After it is all said and done LSU will still have as many home games as the NCAA rules will allow next season and we will get our home game with ASU in the future. And the victims of hurricane Katrina will be better off because of this.

    Had a friend call LSU Sports to reserve their spot in Tempe, and they notified him that student tickets won't be honored. I'm pretty pissed because I made plans to go. They were originally going to honor them, but "changed their mind".
