A few years ago I was working in the San Antonio area and one day I found myself in China Grove. I said to myself, "Hey, this is the town The Doobie Brothers sang about. I wondered why. There is not much to China Grove other than a blip on he highway with a few businesses. None of the residents I asked know why the Doobie Brothers would sing about their town.

Said this before, you should watch the muscle shoals doc on Netflix. It is WELL worth the time. Don't miss the one about Ginger Baker either. Dude was an animal.

I am still into what I was into through high school and college in the late 70's and 80's.

    Country
Hank Jr., George Straight, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, David Allan Coe, George Jones,
Newer Country I like Lady Antebellum, Shania, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw,

Hard Rock Van Halen,Kiss, Foreiner, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, Too Many to mention

Old School Chicago, Doobie Bros., Commodores, Billy Joel, Olivia Newton John, Abba, Wait for it..... Barry Manilow,Elvis,

I like a lot of music and can appreciate good music of any kind.

My wife took me to a Prince cover band and I wore my 70's white disco boots with white pants and a purple lng sleeve shirt.
And of coarse I pulled out my full length tiger striped pimp coat. I looked like a purple and white plum with a tiger attacking me but man the old moves are still there. just takes me a while to find them

thinking of starting a movement to bring back disco. It was my wheelhouse.

There is a picture but I was careful not to get on video lest some of you other tiger fans want to steal my moves.

I may be old but put me in a pair of lavender pants and silk shirt and I will take you to Saturday night fever town. But I didn't have this pot belly when Donna Summer was blaring out " Last Dance " at the high school .I am a 53 year old trapped in the late 70's LOL I can see it now me in my outfit at the old folks home dancing the oldies .
