    JazzFest lineup will be announced today. Rumor mill says The Rolling Stones are playing.

    I don't go to jazz fest anymore. It's just too crowded.

    A friend told me that a couple of weeks ago but if you look for ticket info their tour no NO. Closest place us Houston.

    Probably because it won't be an official part of their tour. You have to buy JazzFest tickets, Thursday, May 2. Yes, its now official.

    Tickets are separate from regular festival tickets and are $185.

    I wouldn't have paid $185 to see them in their prime.

    I used to go every year but now it's more of an ordeal than fun. The crowds make it just about impossible to get a good viewing vantage point. And there is no shade anywhere unless you go to the jazz tent where it's not air conditioned or the clubhouse where it is.

    I saw them at the PMAC in 1976. Tickets were $13.
