Damn it’s easy to get caught listening to those guys. From Joe Cocker to Janis Joplin to Clapton...with Creme, with Jimmy Page Jeff Beck and with George Harrisson.....all great musicians all playing music infinitely better than the crap that’s today’s music.
Thanks all of you who bring these to us.

I saw Joe Cocker perform at Red Rocks many years ago He was more than a Mile High. To the best of my knowledge he didn't fall in through the bathroom window
I was born & raised about 40 miles from Port Arthur I saw Janis perform at the clubs just across the Sabine river She was definitely ahead of her time.

Add the Eagles, Chicago, the Beatles, and the Beach Boys and you've got a hell of a list.

Johnny and Edgar Winter were from Beautiful. Did you ever see either one of them?

They were from Beaumont, just north of Port Arthur. I don't think I ever saw them performs. That was a long, long time ago

I know. It was either spellcheck or fat finger syndrome.

I saw them play together in Houston at, of all places, Astro World with Duane Alman opening. It was the Winter brothers Mom's birthday. The show wasn't supposed to happen or rather, it wasn't billed that way. Originally, it was Edgar opening for Duane, but as a surprise to Mom Winter, that was how it went down. Everyone was blown away when Duane opened, then Edgar then Johnny and them together to cap the evening. Brought mom on a stage, sat her down with a blanket over her legs and just sang songs to their mother. Saw that by accident.

Wasn't gonna go but a last minute call from a friend with an extra ticket made that happen.

Epic! ( I don't think I have used that word before, but it seemed appropriate!)
