    My 1st guess would be Buddy Guy but it has to pre date him. I know the blues brothers did it and yes that was Akroid and Belushi singing. I didn't watch the whole video but will, looks to be one of Claptons guitar festival things because in about 30 seconds I saw Clapton, Robert Cray, JJ Cale, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, Jim my Vaughn and I'm going to assume the Steele was Robert Randolph but didn't make it that far. Either way it's great stuff.

    Was written by Robert Johnson, same guy who wrote Crossroads

    See, I knew it

    I knew BG was Chicago dude but had to be before him. So many blues guys when you get older than the Guy,King era it's difficult to separate.

    Robert Johnson first recorded SHC in 1936. He died in 1938 at the age of 27. Lots of old blues guys from that era who laid the foundation for the blues that we don't know much about. Ever heard of Willie Dixon? I'm sure you'll recognize this song

    so if you type in music in the search function from the main page (all forums searched) this thread doesnt show up. if you do advanced search and search titles only and put music, this thread doesnt show up. what the fuck is with this ancient site.
