    Sean fucking Payton?

    http://detroitsportsrag.net/and-the-mystery-michigan-candidate-is/

I don't buy it, mostly because there's no source even hinted at. It just doesn't make sense.

Buuuuutttttt . . . one of the buzz words on Airline Drive the past week or so has been "leadership." I know most of it looks like it's been directed at players. Who's to say some word hasn't leaked to them and they're actually talking about coaches?

Nah. I still don't buy it.

I could see Payton to the 49ers.

But because his kids still live in the Dallas area, I'd think any job he would take would be fairly close to there. So maybe Dallas, Houston, Atlanta (wouldn't THAT suck?), maybe KC or St. Louis.

Still don't think he's going anywhere unless he wants to go.

well yeah hes not getting fired. he worked at dallas and its always the place he'd most likely end up. but dallas isnt firing garret this year. i dont think he'd take the texans job. doesnt seem like a fit in atlanta. i was just using the 49ers as an example since michigan and harbaugh are a part of this discussion.

This morning Colin Cowturd said he knew who the new coach at Michigan would be but he couldn't say because he didn't want to burn his source. He also predicted that both Tennessee and Auburn would beat Alabama this year.
