Makes me wonder.......if and when the school will decide to change the helmets? I'd hate to see it happen, but over the years many teams have done it, with the exception of most of the "no logo" schools, i.e., Alabama, Penn State, etc. I remember back in the mid-80's an idea was floated around to change to the tiger stripe look of the Cincinnatti Bengals. Gold helmet w/purple stripes. It looked gawd-awful to me.
I think it would be really cool if LSU did a throwback game. Maybe go with the classic numbers on the helmets a la 1958 Nat'l Championship team.
Change the Helmets??? Didn't Dinardo try that once with White helmets? I believe he is now trying to change the uniforms up in Indiana. Thank you Nick C'est bon (saw that on a sign at the USC game).
I just heard today from an Indiana fan that they have changed the school colors from red and white to Crimson and Cream. That Dinardo loves to change things but "Crimson and Cream" sounds like a nice dessert.
