Crawfish actually posted here on Tigerforums.com that the logo was GONE after 04... This is still the plan... I would like to ask a question, though...
I got a new hat for a gift for Christmas and my sons won't even wear it, the Tiger looks way to cartoonish and the nose and tongue are ridiculous looking. Thank goodness the purchaser is from out of town.
I agree. The new logo looks like a clone of other teams (kentucky, southern) What a-hole had his head so far up his arse that he he thought that tiger was intimidating? I can't believe we payed somebody to come up with that crap. What happened to tradition? Bring back the oold logo.
I just hope they don't pay $60K for another new logo. There are plenty of Tiger fans with Photoshop or artistic skills who would gladly design a new logo either for free or for LSU-related rewards like season tickets.
The way I see it is the only true logo and the only true LSU tiger is the one we see on the helmet. The new logo is just pathetic and I agree that it being made up north and not here is extreme slap in the face. This issue should be addressed.
