We had our loud moments. Problem was that whenever we would start to get loud they would go to commercial.

I was right under one of the big screens standing along the wall right behind ND fans. The Dome seemed very loud at moments. I think it rivaled a Saints game. I'll tell you one thing though...LSU fans completely blew away the ND fans when it comes to "who was louder".

I agree that it did not seem as loud as the Panther game but you must remember that there were basicly 70k fans @ the saints game for the saints. I woul say LSU was rep maybe 50K a great # but you can get gaps in the stadium. Plus you must remember that the NFL crowd and a NCAA crowd are a little different. As great a fan base as LSU we are still more family oriented were as NFL is very much young adult males. JMTC.

I thought the crowd was about 2 or 3-1 LSU. As compared to the 10-1 for a normal Saints game. This makes a huge difference, especially as to where the noise comes from. During a Saints game, it comes from all sides, and the roar just echoes. For the LSU game, the location of the ND contingent kept the noise from coming from all directions. But IMO, the Dome was loud at several key moments, but it has definitely been louder in Tiger Stadium than it was at its loudest last night (Not that this is a bad thing, cause we beat the snot out of them in the second half and didn't need the noise level).

Well,my sugar bowl tickets were at the 524 level and my saints tickets were at the 315 level at the 50 yard line.Maybe that's the difference? Not trying to take anything away from our tigers victory, just my personal observation.I like some of the comments here except for the smoking of crack in stall #3.I was surrounder by various notre dame fans and in the first half they got pretty loud. They even started doing pushups with very tiny girls.I could tell that the section in the endzone lower level was pretty loud though, hats off to them.

I don't know if you could hear it on TV, but Allstate got booed....it was funny. I was in LSU's end zone in section 151 and it was loud throughout. There were chants like "overrated" and "Saban Sucks" and all kinds of fun stuff. Had a blast at the game!
