1. That was the consensus from the baseball guys around here. That some team would throw a big number at him and force him to make a tough decision. If he goes baseball he leaves the football team in a really shitty spot because they have no answer and it is too late for not having one.

Riley was on the radio the other day saying he was "confident" that Murray was going to be their QB. Guess we will find out.
  2. If they are willing to give him 5 it's not a tough decision. Only way he plays football is if he goes the Josh Booty route and can't make it the bigs.
  3. Maybe they agreed to a lesser number so he can play both to lessen risk. Or they offered him more to get him out of football altogether. I'd lean to the latter or they may have wasted a top 10 pick. But mlb teams try to be risk averse.

He could go the Russell wilson route and do both I suppose. I just know they'd rather not, obviously. I'd make him choose.

Isn't he small for a QB?
  4. So is Baker Mayfield.
  5. And looks twice the size of this kid. Hence my point.
  6. Don't know a lot about him really. Has wheels for sure.

Just saw that the As are going to let him play football but no baseball.
  7. Say what.
  8. What is it you're trying to validate. The top baseball team is very cyclical. Florida has been to Omaha 11 times. we have been 18. They lost to FL Atl yesterday. How embarrassing with three round 1 selections. Their coach wins in spite of himself I suppose.
