Sounds like a day at the course.

 

Maineri is good among his peers, but is he maximizing the potential at LSU? I think it is clear he isn’t, but what percentage of 100% max is he getting?

I think my quick research showed in the past 10 years, his results are good for 3rd in the nation. If someone like Skip are Saban are close to 100% maximization of talent, maybe Marinara is around 85-90%?

If regional is a down year, super/omaha is norm, NC-game every 5 years (his current track), hard to be too down on him despite his flaws. I’d take that as a lukewarm baseball fan, particularly if OG and WW are having success.

 

I think you guys (LSUiLike, Casanova, etc) are overthinking this. We had a suboptimal year and still made regionals after being in CWS finals last year. Simple as that. Everyone except @islstl who is just simply reacting the way he always does.
