It is an opinion that happens to be correct. You get 3 outs per inning, throwing one away is just dumb. If you had say 5 outs I'd be ok with it.

Late innings no outs you bunt the guy to third if one run wins or ties it. You increase your chances of scoring by 5.69%.

And you decrease your outs by 33%

Let's say you have some guy at the plate batting .250 that isn't that great but whatever. Let him swing he has a 25% chance of reaching base AND scoring the runner at 2nd.

Let him bumt and there is a 99% chance he is out.

Yes but the objective is to win not how many outs. If you increase your odds to win or tie by scoring a run you do so.
