Had a friend (Stacey, she's a teacher too) who sent me a text this morning to tell me she is going to her first game. I told her the band coming down the hill was A MUST. She just sent me a text telling me she saw it/them and got the goosebumps like I spoke of.
My 7th grader insists on watching the band come down the hill. But, then again, she is a trombone player in her school's band--so she wants to be in a college marching band one day. Right now her college of choice is...Texas. Oh, well, better than the Aggies.
