    Good point.

I think it was ultimately LSU's incredible defense depth, and ability to pin their ears back in OT that made the difference at the end. Also, BAMA's offense buckled in OT with several poor passes that set up the difficult long FG attempt.

I will agree with that totally... That pass to Trent that was over his head, was HUGE! Ugh...

For all the talk of Bama being able to wear down an opponent, LSU is the team that wore Bama down. We came close to breaking the game open on our last possession in regulation. As OT started, Bama obviously had run out of gas on offense and defense.

We had the ball inside the 42 of the Tide 5 times in regulation, just like Bama had their 5 shots against us, and ended up with only 6 points. And we had the ball inside the 5 with 3 shots at the endzone and didn't score a TD. Something you guys failed to do.

LSU had JUST AS MANY chances with the ball in or around field goal range as Bama. We decided to punt and pin you back (smart smart move) vs kick a long FG or go for it on 4th down. You decided to miss FGs that your kicker wasn't capable of making on a consistent basis (3 of the missed FGs were 49,50 and 53 yards in length, the other was 44).

I was wrong about you not coming back. You may be delusional but you are honorable. Good luck on your season.
The lsu defensive stand in ot will be remembered as one of the greatest stands in lsu history aginst the greatest team we ever beat. You guys shouldve punted and pinned us deep. Your fg kicker couldn't make those long kicks , especially with the pressure being applied by the lsu defense. We blocked the one that was makeable. It's that pressure that rushed your kicker.
Bama is every bit as good as lsu. If we played ten times we would each win five.

You guys have a great team also, and I hope you smash the hell out of Boise in the Sugar Bowl.

Hey man - got to be a tough day but the sun did come up and life moves on. You guys need a kicker!

Not going to rub it while it hurts - be cool and just take it one at a time.

OSU and Stanford go down I think we see you guys again. I don't want to but if it works that way so be it.
