I promise you our dear beloved Tigers have their cheating stories and were never called on them either. Charlie Alexander getting his cash after the game etc. Schools have become better at not having to technically break the rules. They dont give the Car. They just get these guys jobs making so much they buy the car themselves. That one recruit from Maryland that is saying his dad is moving wherever he goes is a red flag to the NCAA. Better not get caught arranging a job for him. Although there are ways to get around even that. Very tough to prove. One thing though is you still always have to prove yourself on the field. Alabama took care of their business on the field . It is time for LSU to do the same. LSU- Bama was always a special game for both teams when Charlie Mac was our Coach. I know there are other rivals for Bama but during that time LSU Bama was always on T.V. . For people that could not go to the game there was only radio. I remember laying with my dad and brother in front of the radio listening to the Tiger games growing up. He would take us down to 1 game a year in Tiger Stadium. It was usually a lesser game but we didnt care. Tiger Stadium is truly a special place and the memories made there are with me wherever i go. It holds the memories of our past and gives a comfort to me as a symbol that life goes on. No matter what is going on in my life i feel a connection to LSU and it is always a source of pride and i belong to a special fraternity called LSU fans.
So, you find him a troubled servant tormented by living in a state of denial. Deceks, you are an Auburn fan, act like it.
Sorry guys. I don't hate Bama. In fact, my husband is a Tide fan. But I will be cheering for the Tigers on Nov. 12, as always. ldskule:
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to CalcoTiger again. Nice post. Reminds me of my first Tiger memories without (unfortunately) the trips to the stadium once a year.
In this instance I was observing he was an annoying, deceitful, servant tormented by living in a state of denial. The mantra of "the embodiment of all things good can be found in the bahr" gets a little tedious.
Any Tiger fan who doesn't despise Bama has been a fan only since we've been able to beat them fairly regularly. Any fan who suffered through the ruined seasons and heartbreaks of the 60's and 70's takes a special joy in beating Bama and it would be especially heartwarming and fulfilling to stick a knife in them this year all the way to the hilt! Like the originator of this post, I watched as some of LSU's most talented teams and players with championship hopes get derailed by the Bear and Bama in some of the most incredible ways, in games that we dominated them but still lost. There is no team that I take more joy in beating than Bama, not even Tenn. which I despise more than any other team around except Notre Dame. And there is no team I enjoy watching get beat more than Bama! I was happier when we finally beat Bama in Tiger Stadium after 30 yrs than when we won the NC! I HATE F$%^&*G BAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and anybody who thinks the Bear didn't cheat doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. He admitted he cheated, even while he was coaching. He was the one who originated the term, "It ain't cheating if you don't get caught." And for the Aubies on here, great game Sat. nite. You guys are right in there with us as the top two teams in the league. You will kick Bamas' ass as well as us to send them back to reality!
