For a backup QB, especially a situational one, learning his packages and running them is essential to succeeding.

Your offenses and defenses dont change in basketball.

Yeah the timing is off on those runs up the middle.

Oh yeah, I hate those runs up the middle that resulted in 318 yards passing vs AU. They're such jerkstores.

Perrrilloux was put on notice by Coach Miles before the summer began that he needed to walk a tight line. He violated a team rule and sat out the first half of the Tulane game. He has been given notice.

He found himself in a bad situation which he did not make better last Thursday night. By sitting him for this game, Miles is setting the standard that his players are expected to make such situations better, not worse. Miles is trying to get him to understand that as a leader, he will have to behave better than the people around him. That's not the standard the police use to arrest people, but that is the leader holds himself to.

I believe Ryan has the ability to be the leader in 2008 that we need. Apparently, so does Miles, since he will remain on the team.

Amazing how lack of prosecution equals innocence in some folks eyes.

Based on the facts alone, this kid is a head case and is not getting any better.

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm fairly convinced we have a dramatic, sad, and costly end to RP's career at LSU on the horizon. Hopefully it won't happen next October.

Trust in the hat, I guess.

We'll see. If he can keep out of trouble, cool.

Somehow, I sense RP has a glimmer of hope. It is from the way he was seriously listening to Miles on the sidelines I believe the last game, or the game before last.
