well, if cheap shot fairley would have just got up and walked off the field, the cheating refs would have not thrown the flag. they should learn from the cowboys last night. don't celebrate until the game is over!
I just find it odd that they'll call him for that, but won't call it on Newton for getting up in the crowd after a TD like he's done all year..
I think the humans already don't like to vote for AU because of the Cash Newton deal. Therefore, if Bama beats the piss out of them...as is the case now...they may just drop them below LSU. - Also, it is no given that AU will go to the Sugar if they lose this game. USCe is rollin', and they didn't lose by much to AU the first time. Pretty rare to beat the same team twice in one season, too. (I think) At this point, I'll go ahead and root against AU. (Not "for" Bama, mind you) From there, I'm rooting for all things possible to allow LSU to wind up in the BCSNCG. 1) LSU beat the hell outta Arky 2) Bama beat AU so bad it destroys them in the polls 3) USCe to beat them too 4) Boise to lose, or at least have the computers override the humans in the voting 5) Oregon to lose 6) Whatever else is necessary. Whatever team LSU has beaten to win and help the SOS. Whatever team BSU, TCU, and Oregon has beaten to LOSE and hurt their SOS. 7) Whatever it takes.
well GD said that the refs were paying extra attention to Fairley today. I think all the coaches complaints are making them actually look at his dirty playing and they called this to send a message maybe.
Did anyone see which lsu game was ranked in the top 10 of the year in cbs's pregame show? I hope bama wins 84-0. That should drop them below us. I wonder who au will pick up as a free agent this year. They are like the yankees of the sec!
