This. The other thing I remember from that game was the UGA defensive player who's "motor was always running" (forgot the name).
We see how the NCAA cares about the integrity of student athletes lets see if they care about the integrity of the game.
They were more hands-off but they were consistent for both sides so it's fine. Chavis' predictable defense and a punt muff cost this game.
After watching the Bama and A&M games afterward. I feel like we'll get a rematch with Ga. I just hope our secondaries and OL are better prepared next time.
As shitty as the defense played, I thought the muff is what really cost us the game. We outgained and outscored them in 2nd half. They stole a possession on the fumble and they got a TD. We had all the momentum until then, having just scored the tying TD, then holding them to a 3-out.
watch that game over and you will see what I am talking about We were draped all over his receivers and he still managed to kill us that day. And like you said, he didn't even need to play the entire game, it got out of hand. Any reason you left out the part of him throwing 5 TDs. Come on. You been caught. Here are some excerpts from the game writeup: "It was something you probably just dream about," Greene said. "Greene just put the ball up in the air and told us to go get it," Gibson said. "I guess they were shocked. We came out and really didn't do anything wrong." "I didn't see it coming," said LSU cornerback Corey Webster, who also gave up a TD pass. "We made those plays last year."
I agree with yo on this one, izzy. While his stats aren't insane, he made some absolutely perfect throws to beat us that day.
