No faith from the faithful. This is Mettenberger's chance to be loved and revered by LSU fans forever. 2 weeks to heal and gameplan. LSU plays much better against Alabama when they have nothing to lose. No one on this team can stomach 3 straight losses to the gumps. You will see LSU's best game offensively. You will see a team that is playing like this is their bowl game. The key is lean heavily on the running game, force Alabama to load the box. Alabama is going to damn sure double up Odell Beckham, 8 has been forcing too many balls his way. We must run to set up play action and kill them with our tight ends, backs catching the ball on the check down, and we need to get either Travin Dural involved or Kadron Boone. LSU has to be as close to perfect on offense as they ever have been, we gotta hope the defense can make 4 or 5 stops or at least keep them from scoring 6 by holding them to 3's. If this is done LSU will win.
For some reason, Cam Cameron decided at some point during Spring and Fall practices that our passing game would not be directed to any of our tight ends. That's disappointing and has limited our passing game. It will much more noticable a defect against a great Bama defense on the road.
