I agree. I think he took care of the ball and did what he was asked to do. I am anxious to see how we look after a few weeks.
Yep....Krag really needs to work with him about stepping into his throws. Even when he's not pressured, he throws off the back foot.
And the offense looked like they were actually executing a game plan and not bumbling and stumbling along. The stats weren't gaudy but this offense is leaps and bounds above what we've seen the last few years.
Yes I do and what an outstanding game by the defense and special teams. Some LSU fans offensive expectations are so low it's unbelievable. I guess four straight year of division III caliber offense will do that to you. I was surprised no make that shocked at just how inept the the passing game was. That being said the LSU defense is everything it was advertised to be and the athletes on special teams are obvious. It was a great great win over a very good yet overrated duck team. LSU is loaded with talent. If the offensive staff can get the O to make any progress the sky is the limit. Just remember this wasn't an SEC defense we faced today.
Krag and the O coordinator need to work with Lee on checking in and out of bad plays too. Lee had the opportunity to check out of a couple running plays against stacked boxes and didn't.
Thats what i am concerned about. While i was suprised by Oregon's defense it will be tough to play SEC defenses with just a run game. MSU in a couple of weeks has a bigger and better front than we faced tonight.
