IF you only knew how wrong you are there, amigo. Home games in Tiger Stadium are something else entirely. But Oregon has had all summer camp to adjust, Les has had to wing it in the first week of classes. LSU wins a close game, Oregon wins a score fest. 8 days without power for me. In 95 degree heat.
You think that you honestly loss less than we did? What a joke bro! What a pathetic way to re-assure yourself and set yourself up for a sorry ass excuse if you lose

I see your case, but consider the Duck's. I suspect Oregon has about as many injuries as LSU, although I'm unsure about that. Because of off field trouble, the Duck's will play without All American Cliff Harris. Our starting LB, 6-4, 240 Kiko Alonso appears to be suspended as well. He played like a beast in Oregon's spring game, a man amongst boys. LSU's minor NCAA infraction set the Tiger's up to look bad, when Lyles became an issue. Your involvement and controversy appears to be over. Oregon's angst over the Lyles matter is much worse, and is continuing. I think both teams, (and fan bases) have been tortured about equally. I see the difference being in the timing. Both have suffered so terribly, the timing difference seems small to me. It occurs to me now, that your OC problems have also added woes. Perhaps saying that Oregon has a clear advantage, would be more correct.
I would have to think LSU's off-field issues and impacts are greater just because they are fresh. Ducks have the whole Seastrunk/Lyles thing and Cliffy Andretti, but that all happened early in 2011. LSU's issues with the fights and suspensions are recent, and somewhat unresolved. Yes they have an older thing with Lyles, but honestly I did not want to mention that name because he has gotten more press than he deserves. Kinda like 'Voldemort' to me...
I don’t think that what Oregon has been dealing with, with the Lyles issue is anywhere near what this LSU program has had to deal with over this bar fight turned into a terrorist attack. Yes you guys did lose 2 huge anchors on defense, but in all honesty, I’d rather lose 2 on D than 2 playmakers on offense(which already struggles WITH them as it is) Oregon is by no means headed into this battle without open wounds, because you are, Harris & Alonso would make a huge difference on defense, but you have had their replacements in training for quite some time now. I think timing played a huge role in all of this for us - 1st day of fall camp we lose our play caller that was set in place all spring & summer - One week before game day we lose our Offensive Captain (Starting QB) and another veteran and leader in our (#1 WR) - Both who are two huge playmakers for us - Then after losing those 2, we turn to our O-Line to initiate much more of running attack and now we possibly have 2 starters out there, for sure one - So now, we had a week to have our brand new play caller work out a completely different scheme and offensive game play (Without a running QB) and get the rest of our offense adjusted to our back-up QB, including back up O-Linemen preparing to start and freshman WR's preparing to start as well, against the #3 Team in the country in the biggest game of the week with “no pressure” I am not making excuses and this really just is what it is, it just bothers me for anybody (Oregon fan or no Oregon fan) to tell me that we are putting similar wounded teams on the field. It truly is unfortunate and I know you guys want our best out there just as much as we do. I felt the same way last year talking with UNC fans leading up to that game. My experience after that win, and one thing I promise you as a Duck Fan, you will hear this the rest of the season and you will feel as if it counts against you in your BCS vote’s – Come Saturday, if you guys win, all year it will be referred to, as an OOC victory over what was a “Short Handed LSU Team” – You guys will not hear the end of that all year from ESPN and the rest of the college football nation – That much I promise. – And it just blows!
I hear you, I saw how ripped up the morale was on this site. I'm just not sure you realize the level of trauma Eugene endured. It began in the spring, and intensified until just a few weeks ago. The Eugene newspaper blog, was in anarchy. Posters blaming reporters, who were defended by other posters. Posters arguing this amongst themselves. While head in sand posters bitched about having to listen to it. And others screamed, "The sky is falling". It was horrible, not a trace of fun to be found. That was exactly why I started hanging out here, because my Duck fans were freaking out. Oregon fans have suffered plenty, trust me.
I know you guys have, I sucks and it comes with territory of being one of the most elite and top programs in the country, welcome to it Ducks, because you guys definitely are one........Haters are EVERYWHERE, doubters are EVERYWHERE, just waiting for you to slip up so they can be the first one to report on it and say that they "called it" - It’s a disgusting characteristic and you now see in total amazement just how many haters out there that there really are As I said above, the hate won’t stop, and as for all the talk about you guys playing , beating a "Short Handed LSU Team" - I'll say this, you guys are playing one hell of a football team on Saturday even without JJ & RS, and regardless of what this LSU team is going through in their heads. If indeed you roll over us, I'll be shocked. I expect LSU to give you fits and make it close. Unless we just completely lay down, I'll continue to admit to everybody that yes, had JJ & RS been playing could the game have gone differently? Possibly, but that won’t matter, I'll give the Ducks credit where credit is due, and credit will be due for beating a damn good LSU football team. My biggest fear as we approach game day, is whether or not LSU has the offensive fire power to score the points needed to beat this Ducks team and hang. As a diehard fan I have watched every snap of LSU football, good and bad, I have seen many glimpses of greatness, even if that means my eyes have deceived me..........but honestly, this is just one of those cases where the players are going to have to go out there and prove that they can, because right now, I am worried sick
