I haven't seen them once this year but that is an amazing streak. Also good for the team ball mentality that the Spurs have written the definition for over the past decade+. Haven't liked an Atlanta franchise since the Dale Murphy / Human Highlight film era though. I don't think Korver can stay above 50% 3pt all year.
Atlanta is built a lot like the Spurs regarding the fact that you can't key on just one player in crunch time.
ANTHONY DAVIS IS THE FUCKIN' MAN!!! DOUBLE CLUTCH THE 25 FOOTER AT THE BUZZER TO BEAT OKC ON THE ROAD! DROP THE MIC AND LET'S GO HOME! SCREW WESTBROOK AND HIS 48 POINTS, ITS A.D. BABY!!!!
And what is it about going to work for ESPN that turns intelligent people into idiots? George Karl - analyzing the Pelicans' resurgence tonight and asked where they need to improve, said "I'd like to see better guard play...they've got Tyreke Evans - well, he had a triple double tonight - they've got Eric Gordon, Jrue Holliday....they need to play better." Hey George, have you noticed Holliday has been out nearly a month? Or that Gordon is averaging about 16 a game in the last 10 games; not bad for the third scoring option on the team?
Looks like it was an unbelievable game. Nice to see the Pels come out on top. I noticed the Pels were 25 of 30, and Thunder was 25 of 28 in FTs. That's pretty darn efficient.
Uh oh.....Davis hit the floor hard after a dunk in the 2nd quarter tonight, landed on his shoulder and did not return to the game.
Swing for the fences in okc. Long fly out to the warning track. Brooks was already in over his head now he has a fine mess to deal with.
