Well, while that is true, unfortunately the streak has come to an end. I was hoping he would have lusted for the headlines but instead he enjoys being a ball hog. Bastards. I love him but he needs to pass the rock.
Helluva win for the Pels. And with Holliday back, they have enough talent to at least keep the series against GS interesting.
Great first round matchups and potentially great second round matchups. will be interesting to see Rockets vs Mavs, im sure some hispanic fans of both teams will stab each other in the respective parking lots Spurs vs Clippers will be good. Bulls vs Cavs-2nd round to be epic.
I haven't seen the Pels much this year but hoping they can make it a series. GS has been almost unbeatable at home this year. With the interior advantage that the Pels have along with the playoffs usually being a slower pace, maybe games 1 and 2 will be competitive.
We have a chance that Brooks may get canned in OKC. The problem is the team is held hostage by Durant and Westbrook. If they are smart enough to realize that Brooks isn't the answer and agree then his ass is gone. Beings Westbrook publicly called him "his friend" I don't see this happening. That leaves management with a tough pill to swallow. I think they realize that Brooks needs to go but if they fire him against the wishes of 2 of the top 6 players in the NBA coming up on contract years it is almost a certainty that they both leave. What a shit sandwich that is. So like I said, hope they agree that their "friend" needs to find another bench to coach from.
Whether Brooks is still there or not I can't see Durant ans Westbrook staying in OKC once they become free agents even if the Thunder are willing to pay as much as the Lakers, Knicks, Heat, ect. Lots more opportunities to make off the court money in a big city. And I've been to OKC. I wouldn't want to live there if I had lots of money.
