He is a lot better now.

Thunder missed the playoffs by a game. If you look at the season with all the injuries and take Westbrook off that team they miss them by 20 or more. I'd say they made the right choice but that is what you don't understand, there wasn't any choice to make Harden was leaving, wanted out. They could have kept him for 1 more year but them he was gone as FA.

i understand coping mechanisms when i see them. they needed to sign harden regardless. the window is so small you dont make excuses about being a small market team. thats a copout they sold on the stupid okc fans. as durant said, they were a better team then. you do what it takes and keep the core together. period.

How do you do that when the player doesn't want to be there? I get your point in you spend the money and to hell with the cap. That isn't and wasn't the issue. Harden wanted to go be a superstar and was never going to stay. Not sure why you don't see that.

Would I love to still have him here, of course I do. He wanted out.

Thats only because the voters have this ridiculous rule that the MVP must play on a top seeded team. I think Kareem may be the only guy to win it on a 7 seed team. If they vote legit 0 is in the discussion

Dont forget Brooks and his buddy Kendrick freaking Perkins. Those 2 idiots cost us what could be our only shot at a title.

We are witnessing the NBA evolve. It's getting smaller.

There hasn't been a really good "big man" since what, Shaq?

Well after shaq it went to the finesse big man, Tim Duncan, Dirk, Pau and Marc Gasol, but Golden State is proving you don't need that. You have to have outstanding guard play, and a guy who can score off isolation close and away from the basket, the big man is only there to pull down rebounds and finsh missed shots.
