I already said the spurs is where he's going but between la and Miami it's not even close. Riley is still the architect and puppet master. Ask lebron why he went there. Wasnt for spoelstra. Without riley his rings never happen. I coulda coached that team.
pretty much, but wow I didnt know Aldridge was that much of a bitch. I read about his time in Portland and wow.
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...cus-aldridge-left-the-trail-blazers/29718151/ For years, rumblings existed that Aldridge wasn't happy with his place in the Portland spotlight. First it was Brandon Roy stealing his thunder, then Greg Oden before his ill-fated fall, and then this young and dynamic talent named Damian Lillard whose star rose far too quickly for Aldridge's liking. Along the way, the complaints that would rarely, if ever, come directly from Aldridge himself were consistent: one way or another, intentional or not, he felt underappreciated -- if not disrespected. He wanted top billing. But the challenging part for the Blazers folks who tried so hard through the years to understand him is that Aldridge's understated ways made it nearly impossible to satisfy this request. He routinely turned down interviews, or didn't maximize off-court opportunities of which Lillard did. He is known as the private type, the kind of player and person who prefers to play his game and let someone else handle most of the leadership duties. Except, of course, until someone does just that, reaps the benefits and kickstarts the cycle of jealousy that had everything to do with his departure.
WHAT? an insecure star athlete? that never happens! this is just portland throwing him under the bus on his way out. they didnt have the balls to do it while he was there however. anyhow, he will be the successor to Tim Duncan who will be the 4th best player on his team if all this falls into place. also duncan will have time to teach LA how not to be a bitch. bad news for teams in the west, namely okc and the pels. davis just re-signed 5 yrs and durant is making his farewell tour this year but san antonio is set up for years to come now if it happens.
I agree, the Spurs are the future. Its really bad news for everyone. Pop will figure out how to defend the Warriors this year.
