I think it's refreshing that we can now complain about the defense for a change.

    Food for thought.

Uh, no he didn't. 298 against the gumps was as close as he got.

It was a retired jersey that they started a new tradition, it will go to one player who will wear it for his entire career, once he moves on it will be give to another player. Kinda like our 18.

GDI I accidentally clicked defensive stats instead of offensive.

Well I unabashedly reject the idea.

The Tigers still have a couple of things to work on. The D has got to grow up before the heart of the schedule gets here. I think they will but Chavis has some work to do. Run blocking is still not where it needs to be but hopefully they can get better. Our punter has been a weapon in recent years but that is no longer the case... way to inconsistent.

But... the LSU offense is fun to watch again! Mett is going to have a really, really big year and it's going to be fun to watch. If he has the kind of year I think he is going to have, this team has a chance to be great.

We still have Kent State and Auburn to correct these defensive issues.

I think it's growing pains with the younsters.

Auburn at least provides something before we play Georgia. What that something is, I'm not certain.
