Miles sucks....he's lucky....we're losing all the Louisiana prospects to Bama....fire Miles. That is all...carry on !!!
On a separate note, looks like the shitty big ten refs found their pass int flags in the Michigan game...
Other than the WTF 2nd quarter, I'm ecstatic with LSUs effort and result in this game. I got a chance to attend the game at the last minute and got fantastic seats at face value. I'm glad I went. LSU an aerial juggernaut? Yes please! Mett was on another level tonight, every attempt should have been a completion if there hadn't been a couple of drops. Beckham was on another level. Backups got game experience. And the Tigers did manage to beat a 34 point spread. I'd love to see more of that. Geaux Tigers.
now we outgained UAB 445 to 296 Florida outgained Miami 413 to 212 Florida lost. We won. Florida had a negative four turnover margin, which we last had when we beat Tenn by 2 pts in 2010 today we finished with an even turnover margin
Had to record the 2nd half. Just watched it now. Impressive. Good efforts, great learning experience--especially as to how to adjust the angled pursuit, second string got some time, we beat the spread and Mett, OBJ & Co look to move our 9th place up a bit. Congratulations, Tigers!
Hmm RSJ didn't play for A&M and Sumlin did not give any clue as to whether he would be back/why he was out, while specifically mentioning another one was back. Since this kid scares me more than Manziel does .... Damn was hoping it was related to his parents getting $$$, but its just a tweaked knee and he'll be back next week.
TB07, that game was the opposite of your predictions earlier in the thread, bro. Glad you got to go to the game and witness it. OBJ, Mett, and the O-line were unbelievable last night. Credit really should be to Cam Cameron, though. No question the big difference in Mett is that he is getting more time, has clearly been tutored in better decision making, and is suddenly on target w/long throws. The dramatic improvement in him and the O-line, and the sudden overall efficiency in the offense, has to be CCC. We haven't seen an offense like that in over 5 years (maybe VT game?). On a separate note, I bet we continue to develop the passing game over the next few games, and even into UGA game. But, I bet when we get to the Bama game, our established passing game will allow CLM to strategize a run first approach in that game. I think he is going to run, run, run w/success since they won't be able to crowd the box like before, then we'll come out passing in the second half. If the game goes as planned, we'll be running again in the 4th to run out clock. Loving this new offense! Opposing defenses will be on their heels all year, and won't be able to put 8 in the box anymore. Our defense needs to improve, and will, as we get into SEC play.
I have seen punt returns and kickoff returns but last night was the first for a field goal return. That was awesome !
