    Not saying you're wrong, but with the extension, I believe he has 3 years left. Do you think they would wait that long to transition?

    @fanatic @TeamofSavages Don't forget, Ensminger has always been The Reluctant Coordinator. He may be very willing to step down in a year or two. Can't be that far from retirement either.

    To be fair, although I don't like extending Ensminger...
    LSU scored 10 two seasons ago against Bama. (under Canada). So your title is incorrect. Ensminger was responsible in 2016 and 2018, 0 points scored against Bama.

    That said, this is a gesture and nothing more. They are letting him ease his way out. Probably not a bad thing.

    Yep, but wasn't that when he was interim OC and still being paid TE coach money? Now that he's making around 800k, he may be the Reluctant to Step Down coordinator.
