1. I don't know what Webster would define as a thug, but I wouldn't consider smoking weed with your buddies as making you a "thug." I think he's an addict and need some help and some growing up. Besides, isn't this his first time in trouble with the law? Do we even know if what he tested positive for last year is/was even illegal? I'm gonna hold off on judging this dude. I would hope at least Tiger fans would do the same.
  2. Well, again the smell isn't why they knocked on the door. JJ made an ass of himself and threatened someone. The person threatened called the cops and told them where JJ went. The cops knocked on the door and when the door opened, perhaps they smelled weed or perhaps not. I recall reading that Mathieu gave them permission to enter and search at which point the illegal substance was found in is residence inside a drawer and a bookbag along with a scale and some other paraphernalia.
  3. Why not eat it?

  4. Earlier this year Dre Kirkpatrick was busted for possession, just a few days after the national championship game, and he ended up going 17th overall in the draft after completing his junior season. All this really does is hurt his draft stock a little, but I don't know if he would have been higher than a 3rd round pick, and hurt his chances to play for LSU again. Still the dude was minding his own damn business. He cooperated with police by letting them search, and that should favor him in getting these charges lessened to maybe just a paraphanelia misdemeanor.
  5. Here is an interesting question, lets see how everyone answers.

You are the police officer that knocks on Mathieu's door, he opens, you smell bud, what do you do next? You are the cop, the LSU fan that you are today, what do you do?
  6. You tell them to keep the noise down and don't drive high. Then you tell him good luck w/ next year on the FB team and to keep his nose clean.
  7. I tell Mathieu he's an idiot and to get his shit together. I tell him I'll be watching him. That said, Mathieu goes free. JJ, on the other hand, is arrested. He was arrested last year for allegedly stomping someone's head in a bar fight. Now he's allegedly threatening people with violence? We've all seen him throw temper tantrums on the field. He's an embarrassment to LSU. Maybe an arrest wakes him up, maybe not. I believe he is a violent person and is eventually gonna hurt someone in one of these altercations. Esp. seeing as how drugs/alcohol maybe involved. Sounds like they both need an intervention. JJ sounds like his life is really spiraling out of contol. I hope not, but there sure is a lot of smoke.
  8. Dude, where did you read that JJ threatened anyone? I haven't seen that in any of the articles I read. Link please.
  9. If this is true than my answer applies. If not, forget most of what I posted.
