i really felt today that we weren't thining like you said cparso. Seems like we got frustrated at times and forced a lot. TT was taken completely out of the game on the offensive end and tmitch was hot today and we failed to get the ball to him.

Guys give Bama some credit their back was against a wall and they played well. LSU was not as sharp as we have been lately but we gave them all they wanted.

A few key calls went their way heading to the last 5 minutes and we just didnt hit enough outside shots to get them out of that defense.

You cant score inside on every position every now and then someone is gonna have to hit something outside.

And letting Steele penetrate all the time led to too many baskets.

    LSU gaurds got outplayed today.

All in all just a typical on the road SEC type game.

Now we start another streak and head toward the tournament.

    WTF w/all these TO's

That was ugly. I never seen guys try to drive the lane and try to hand the ball off to a guy right next to him. LSU needs to spread out when they have the ball. I guess you win some and you lose some.

Why didn't we deny Steele the inbound pass and foul someone else?

bama played great, steele and davidson are really good players. Mitchell's great but needs to learn how to handle being taken out of the game... he stopped thinking at the end (not keeping steele from the ball, running into that double team on their last real possession, and not looking to tmitch on that fast break)

he's our best offensive threat, but needs to learn not to force it... also, baby went into a lot of double teams today when he could have kicked it out... over all It was a well played game, I just didnt like brady's decision to man temple up against steele...

yeah, just because he made one or two bad decisions in this game, it doesnt mean he didnt make good ones too...

I was really impressed with bama's whole team... if they can get hot, and get into the tournament, Im sure no one wants to see them as a 12 seed

Yea and that is why I took this loss so hard... I'm over it now (I guess...) but I knew we would have to lose one eventually, and I knew deep down we'd probably lose this one, I was just hoping I was wrong. On a positive note, though... Losses are probably the GREATEST tool for success. LSU really needed a reality check before their heads swelled too big... LSU (depending on how the coaches use this loss) will be THAT much better from now on... :geauxtige
