The recruiting of Burrow to LSU

    Okay, I know I should know the answer to this question. I just don't recall -- how did Burrow get to LSU? Did he reach out to us, or did the coaching staff recruit him?

    I believe it was between Cinci, North Carolina, and LSU. I would think that they were all after him pretty seriously. Coach O served up about 15 lbs of the best crawfish he could scrounge up. Lame Kiffin played a small part in Joe coming down to the Br'ruh as well, which I was surprised to hear.

    Didn’t Burrow’s dad tell him that if he was choosing between LSU and Cincinnati, but also wanted to be a national champion, that he should choose LSU?
