Unfortunately, this is the future of the ungifted journalist. They have to write inflammatory articles to get noticed because they lack the talent to write stories with real substance (See Guilbleaux, Finebaum ect). It's a good thing Clair doesn't fall into this category.

Is he actually suggesting that we throw the game to make the Hokies feel good?? Thatw e shoudl give up out of respect? it would be more disrespectful to not NOT play hard. Besides, if football isn't really that important as he suggest, than VT shouldn't care either about the game. This liberal garbage, like all liberal garbage, has more holes than the Mississippi State defense. I'd suggest thinking before speaking.
You know what would be a really horrible... treating the Virginia Tech fans like helpless victims all day. We owe them the experience of a life time. But we owe that to anyone who visits LSU on a game day. What could be a better escape from the emotional turmoil in Blacksburg than living one of the premiere experiences in all of sports- Saturday night in Death Valley. Let's feed em, yell Tigerbait till our voices are gone, have our boys whip their boys on the field, then party with em all night. I can really sympathize with all they lost in Blacksburg, but lets not rob these folks of the LSU expierience because a Tragedy occured.

You guys know as well as I do, that anything than a fight to the finish would be insulting and totally pointless. Krikey! This is about a football game, not lunatics with guns. Show some respect that you mourn with them and get on with it. By midnight it'll be over and the Hokies will be glad that the Tigers ("we" like some of you guys say) played the game like it's supposed to be played. Football is not a game for pacifists.
