Two points. First opinion surveys like this are meaningless....much less accurate than election polling. Most people respond based on emotion and have little real knowledge to base a decision upon. That being said I don't let the impact my judgement. Second as @HalloweenRun said looking at his performance through the lense of what benefits his actions brought to the USA he was not good for our standing in the world. He abdicated American leadership in world affairs. He was not comfortable having us as a leading power and tried to avoid any appearance of leadership. In addition he wasted our position in futile search for deals with Iran. He compromised Syria, Ukraine and Crimea and put the Baltic state in a perilous position. He bowed to Putin in search of the ephemeral deal with Iran and cost 500,000+ lives in the Middle East. His campaign of drone attack only strengthened our adversaries in Afghanistan and across the Middle East. His pivot to the Pacific was at best still born. Domestically my opinion is that he did us no favors. His overreaching use of executive orders has set the stage for Trumo to do worse. His disregard for constitutional limits on his power was rebuffed several time by the Supreme Court. Finally I need only mention the abomination and disaster Obamacare is. No Rexie he was a disgrace as president.
