1. I view it as highway robbery. It is an huge debt that allows one to get a job to make someone else rich. Scholarships are the only way to get through it, I tell my kids.

    We need more trade skills and less women studies, political studies, etc.

    Even "tech" degress dont really teach kids anythingg these days.

As my daughter and I research colleges that accommodate her desired major, it is shocking how many DON'T offer it and yet almost every facking one offers gender studies, politics, philosophy, socialism, crap. It's unreal. Lip service is when libs say they want more women in STEM fields but the gubment under Boobama gave money hand over fist to liberal arts schools who handed out degrees in homosexuality appreciation.

    Exactly. Every day I question whether many of these so called bastions of upper education even deserve my child. I can say without hesitation that if offered a full ride to Harvard, the answer would be an emphatic "no".
