You are absolutly beyond hope. Why do you think democrats try to compare Obama to President Ronald Reagan ? Because they know Reagan brought strength , pride and prosperity to the united states. He was respected and loved by Americans and feared by our enemies. He is what Obama whishes he could be. Obama can never be the great American leader president Reagan was. First you must love this country and believe in it's greatness and not be afraid to tell the world. Liberals despise so many things about America to have the pride Reagan had. Reagan believed in personel freedom and was a staunch individualist. Liberals believe the goverment knows best and we all must be a collective where we distribute wealth to make everyone the same. Reagan was more like our founding fathers. Obama despises the American individualist values our founding fathers fought for. He and his union buddies sound more like the founding fathers of the socialist/communist reveloution.

All liberals hate Reagan. Many even try to compare Obama to Reagan. The diffrence is that Reagan believed in the greatness of America and it's people. Liberals believe America must be changed to be great Reagan believed that America was good and liberals believe America must apologize for itself. Reagan believed that goverment must be held in check. That goverment kills liberty and should be held at bay because of the history goverments have of inslaving it's people. Liberals believe that the more goverment the better. Liberals fail to learn from history that every goverment that gets too powerful becomes a tyrant.

Your respect has become worship, which is disturbing.

Look, Reagan was a good president. I opposed his first election based on his conservative rhetoric, but I did a 180 and supported him in the second election. Why? Because Reagan ran as a conservative, but he presided as a moderate. Reagan was a rare conservative pragmatist. He worked closely with Tip O'Neill, the democratic House Speaker to get things done. He compromised to meet in the middle. Most importantly, he realized that the enemy was the USSR, not the Democratic party. He did not turn the country against itself as the republican party has done since 2000.

He was a great American, yes. But he was not perfect and deserves blame for his foul-ups as well as credit for his triumphs. He broke the back of the Soviet Union and this will be his enduring legacy. But he also timidly pulled us out of Lebanon after the Marines were attacked there without retaliation and leaving Lebanon in a mess that haunts us to this day. And worse, he illegally trading arms with the enemy and negotiated with terrorists (TOW missiles to Iran in exchange for hostages return) and then illegally armed the Contra's using the money from that trade.

This is a rising star in the republican party and I hope runs for president in the future.
Paul Ryan says he sees controlling the debt as a moral obligation. "I would say that what is draconian is doing nothing and lying to the American people about these fiscal problems that we have," he said.

He is extremely smart and I make it a point to listen to him everytime I see that he will be on tv. He would make a great president with a little more experience
