As I longtime Tiger fan, I have to comment on how much fun this season has been. Just being totally engaged with no letdowns has kept me on an emotional high. The quality of our schedule and wins makes it that much better. Beating the winners of the Rose, Orange and Cotton Bowls has never been done. No arguement about the merits of our Tiger's being in the game tonight...we have been consensus #1 for months. It is truly an understatement to say that it doesn't get any better than this.

And everything we love about LSU football comes down to today and I promise to enjoy it. It has been 408 days since our Tigers have lost a football game. Let's hope that we can be truly spoiled and make it 409.

You know what's weird, if Okie State would have gotten the nod over Alabama, we would have beaten the Orange Bowl champ, Rose Bowl champ, Cotton Bowl champ, Alabama would have been Sugar Bowl bound so also the Sugar Bowl champ. What a season.

    Yep.

Instead we will beaten arguably the best 2 loss team in the history of college football, twice.

I am sure the Gumps will jump in and point out that bama won the statistical battle in the first game.
