Yeah, I alluded to that in the Sugar Bowl thread. I also said that I'm not sure how much it would have mattered because I doubt the staff would have used him properly. Poor kid would probably be running the option to the short side and getting clobbered on a regular, and we'd all be sitting here bitching about how we should have gotten Mettenberger, instead.
Heard that too. That sucks. That dude has mobility, and, more importantly, great accuracy and recognition of the defense. It seems all Les sees is Mett's arm strenght and nothing else. Les blows at QB talent evaluation. Sucks. The most important postion on a football team and I fear we may never get it right.
A perfect summary of JJ as well. We have a winner, though selfishly, since I have been saying we need more than pure athlete for some time. It is so friggin obvious. Dayum!
