1. In her defense I think she just wants her son to do the work himself and not rely on someone else to clean up his mess.

That said, I think it's cool that LSU tries to make studying and football the only things that the football players have to worry about while at LSU. Nice perk of big-time football IMO.
  2. How did you miss the part about me saying his mom being impressed with the facilities at LSU? Which of course means the academics as well.

That's what I thought would be a reasonable "expectation" of what a parent or parents would want for their son. She was obviously overboard with her demands. And who the phuck carries on with a reporter for 6 months on the recruiting trail?

I am not sure why you are trying to call me out on something that isn't there.

And that was only your 7th post all time on TF.
  3. I hate to see when this kid doesn't start as a true freshman next season.

    Good luck Sooners.
  4. Thats the stickler, I think she had a price and OU met it. Or she was promised alot of things that wont be delivered. Either way, I hope for the best for this kid, but this situation isnt shaping up to well.

  5. Whoa. Had to do a double take. Gradin66. Mistook for Gradin99. Perhaps a spy in our midst? Anyway, I wonder if McFarlands mom can tackle?

  6. You are being kind, that's good. What I read into it was that she was implying that mean old LSU was going to make some poor sister do the undignified dirty work of picking up after the athletes.
  7. Best of luck to him. Hope the hoopla dies down and he can focus on the next few years.
  8. Lets not spend to much time on this, if the worst thing he can say about LSU is someone sitting on recruits lap and Miles was dry at a dinner, then I'll sleep just fine tonight. However, he let the cat out of the bag on Texas.
  9. Actually, that Texas party might draw other recruits.
