The winner should be crowned king of the SEC. Wasting time playing this is lame. They should only play one game East VS West and who ever wins that should be SEC Champ just like in football. Who ever heard of handing out banners for Tounament champ and overall champ? It’s a waste of cloth. I bet Brady could care less about this useless tournament. Brady should renounce this SECT and stay at home. Rest his guys for the real tournament. If you think anything other then that then you are stupid!

Re: The SEC tournament is a big waist of time. In our case the tourney is a waste of time. But, I think it is a good thing on the whole scope as if a team that doesn't have the record can win the thing they get the automatic bid.

Re: The SEC tournament is a big waist of time. I don't like the tourneys for a different reason. It hurts the regular season champs of the smaller conferences. Look at Davidson last year. They went undefeated in their conference during the regular season yet lost in the tournament and didn't go to the dance. That's messed up for fans of the schools in a 1-bid conference to essentially have the regular season be meaningless and pin all the dance hopes on the conference tournament. The larger conference champs will get a bid and won't be hurt if they don't win the tournament.
Re: The SEC tournament is a big waist of time. We win the SECT and we are a 2 seed most probable. A 2 seed is much much better than a 3 seed. Tourney time is seeding time. It shows which team is hot and which team is not.
