I'm surprised no one else mentioned this but I was impressed with Craig Steltz he flowed to the ball very well and was in on plenty of tackles. I know Landry and Daniels are pretty much the starters, but I have no problem with him stepping in if one gets injured, safety seems to be a strength this year.
Steve Schneider on Channel 9 said they both looked good and, although Flynn had a couple picked, he threw for more yardage than JR. Who to believe?
Shyrone put on some muscle and he can scoot now. Hooray. Skyler seems to be back to his old ways. Teehee. Pictures of the scrimmage coming soon.
On my ignore for a while. Congrats. Get out of the barn and go check on the livestock sometimes on your own.
You are correct, his name was mentioned many times today. He can hit. Also, Herman Johnson is huge. He was on crutches appearing to wear a boot due to his injury. Man that guy is big. Always amazes me re how big Jamarcus is too.
The one thing I hate about scrimmages is if the offense does good the defense looks bad and vise versa, so you always come away wondering which side will be out strength. I thougth our CBs did play farely well I believe Sammy Joseph got an interception. I will tell you this, in the goal line situation, the DBs were agressive and physical. Had a few pass interference plays called, but I thought they the looked farely well. Its hard to make a judgement on the CBs just yet, atleast for me.
Any thoughts of the defense. Based on most observations, the offense has improved which is what I expected, but can anyone comment on the defense. Any standouts??
