1. I was just trying to jab the resident atheist a little. Some sort of bee is not supposed to be able to fly but that was probably made up long before the advances in physics came about. I do however think it is impossible for them to glide.
  2. But it wasn't ever codified in that there New Testament. The HRCAC and it's members tended to do that sort of thing on their own.

    Here's something from the Qu'ran:

Sir Thomas More.... one of the HRCAC's most uplifted saints.... was among those who were real fond of burning those people at the stake that dared to, amongst other atrocities, print and distribute Bibles in English. Poetic justice indeed that he happened to suffer a similar fate.

It's impossible for any human to have judgment of the eternal destination of a particular person. Scripture, however, is real clear on the fact that Christ is the only way.
  3. yes, so we agree, if i died today i would burn in hell forever? you are not judging me by answering, you are just agreeing with e words clearly spelled out in the scripture, right?

now if i ask you if i deserve that fate, you would not answer, because then you are judging i suppose. but surely we can acknowledge the jeebus is the way the truth and the life, and that only through him can i find salvation. so without him, without salvation, and with the constant sinning i am doing, its brimstone for me.
  4. How do I know you aren't a Christian and pulling my chain?
  5. i think it has been clear from the start that i am a believer in the midst of a really difficult crisis of faith.
  6. evidently (i dont remember it), i told sabanfan years ago that he was going to hell and he hated me for it.

btw, the brightest christian theologians ive known all believed that hell was really just the absence of god. so really you (and every one else) is in hell right now.
  7. well duh! thats pretty obvious given we have obama/reid/pelosi.
