Stafford is being given time to adjust and learn with a very bland and basic offensive package. Richt calls it a work in progress.

After watching him in the Spring Game and knowing what kind of arm strength he has, once he gets comfortable, he is going to be very tough to stop.

While I agree that the defense is good in the SEC, the offenses in the SEC have been absolutely terrible. Georgia's offense is terrrible, LSU can't run the ball, Auburn is inconsistent, and that gimmick Florida option won't work long term in the SEC. Miss. St., Ole Miss, Arkansas, USC, Vandy, and Kentucky are bottom Tier C-USA competition at best. Alabama and Tenn. offenses is not going to scare anyone either. The gap between the haves and the have nots is about as large as I can ever remember it in the SEC. Before you bash take a hard look at the games and tell me that this is not true.

PAC-10 teams not named USC have scored a combined 35 pts in 3 games aginst the SEC thus far. That's including California who's averaging 38.4 ppg and Wash. St who's avg 29 ppg. Hell even if you throw in the 50 pts USC put up on ARKY, the PAC-10 is only averaging 21.25 ppg against the SEC. Which is well below what any PAC-10 team not named Arizona or Stanford are averaging per game. Sounds to me like SEC defenses are just that good.
