    QB Ratings

    1. Petty
    2. Winston
    3. Bridgewater
    4. Mettenberger
    5. Manziel

I will put up the numbers tomorrow when they are published, too tired to figure them out myself. Petty is about 230, Winston 215, Bridgewater 199, Mettenberger 190, Manziel 188.

    Murray fell to about 175.

The question -- do we see Mett mentioned at all in the Heisman race? Something tells me no.

He should be, right behind Murray.

So does Murray get blame for stinking it up for 3 1/2 quarters (130 passing yards), or does he only get the credit for bringing them back from defeat? Something tells me it's the latter.

Aaron Murray is in no way as good a QB as Mettenberger.

(I agree but he has been around longer and has been hyped much more.

Big game last drive heroics are the stuff of legend! That has more sway with voters in my opinion.

He's only the leading yardage quarterback in SEC history, its hard to call him bad. Mettenberger has more upside, clearly. But Murray has accomplished more and he beat Mettenberger head to head. He completed his last, must-score drive and Mett didn't. Now Mettenberger must out duel Manziel and McCarron to get another shot at Murray. I think he can do it.

Ah, but no one called him bad.

Mettenberger is the better QB right here, right now.

    LaSalleAve when in doubt, mumble

The Heisman isn't a lifetime achievement award though.
