Unfortunately, to this point, when either of these teams has met up against a power house in the bowls, they have proven they belong. I think your answer of one of them making it to the MNC and getting crushed is our only hope of shutting the media up with this. Even then I'm not sure that'll do it. The media doesn't like to admit they were wrong.
I disagree. I think they'd lose to Fla based on speed alone; especially on defense. Va. Tech is the fastest team they've faced all year and they (VT) cudda/shudda/wudda won that that. I also think Bama and AU beat them. I think we struggle with them because of our offensive woes. Their defense is stout, but they haven't been tested. Boise St. is 7-3 with our current schedule.
