But LSU is in prime position to be the very first team in college football history to do it.

    Chase - 18 TDs
    Hellaire - 17 TDs

Only 6 other teams have ever had a pair with at least 17 TDs.

    2008 Oklahoma State
    Dez Bryant - 19
    Kendall Hunter -17

    2011 Oklahoma State
    Justin Blackmon - 18
    Joseph Randle - 26

    1995 Ohio State
    Terry Glenn - 17
    Eddie George - 25

    2016 Western Kentucky (17/29)
    2014 Colorado State (17/18)
    1970 Air Force (17/20)

How in the world did Air Force have a WR with 17 TDs?

That's when they had the "lonesome end." No wait, that was Army. Uh, I don't know.:(

P.S. How many of you even remember the "lonesome end?" And for extra credit, what was his name?

I remember hearing about the lonesome end, but I think it was sometime in the 1950's Army ran that scheme. Well before my time.
