Except for the SCORE, I really enjoyed the 2001 SEC championship game also. The LSU fans were the most fun of any opponent we have played in an SEC Championship game. That was the loudest game I have ever been to. I couldn't hear for 2 days afterwards.
I thought Tenn. looked very good. The running game is much improved. Other than Brimmer it didn't look like UNLV had another DB on the field.
Guidry would relieve Hodson every third series so that the redshirt freshman could watch the game and see it from a different angle. This took pressure off of Hodson and also allowed Guidry to participate. Guidry was a great leader that was physically limited, Hodson was a redshirt freshman that needed exp. Sound familiar? :geaux:
