Doesn’t matter what his intentions were, the documents weren’t his. He stole them and lied, lies about it. That’s against the law. Walls!
the media tells you these things, and because you are not a lawyer, you dont know anything, and they use that against you. if i asked you the specific charge, you cant answer. you cant elucidate what the charge would be, nor can you understand the defense, were he to be charged. i am not a lawyer either, so i dont blame you for your ignorance. this stuff can be fairly complex. i have no idea what legal procedures are required for archiving or whatever. but what i do know is that the press will run with the idea that trump is definitely finished. the question is why you believe it every time. i think the documents probably were his. they were in the white house, purely to be brought to him and given to him. lets say they are not his. fine. he stole 8 dollars worth of paper. fine him double their value at $16. @Winston1, are you willing to estimate at the value of the "stolen" goods? its mostly just copies of stuff eh? is it worth more than 57 cents? seems like the whole reason these documents were printed and produced in the first place was to inform the president of the info on them. i dont think the advisors that printed them wanted them back. one final questionL do you sincerely think trump will be charged for the documents thing? for what? (note: if you search this forum, you can find dozens of instance of us asking you what the charge will be, and you being unable to answer)
The reason they can’t explain how democracy is at stake, is because they don’t know. They say to watch the tv show, but it’s because they can’t formulate with their own words why it’s at stake at how it’s being attacked. Parroting the same thing that they hear on tv. It’s like when you tell someone they suck for so long, and they start to believe it. Im sure there’s a term for it.
It's very simple: the party in power enacts laws that eliminate the power and legitimacy of the vote. We have many historical examples: NAZI Germany, Putin's Russia, Caesar's Rome, and on and on and on. Already, the republican Party has signaled its willingness to diminish the vote: voter suppression laws, and a vast subscription to the lie that Biden's election was illegitimate. So, there, I KNOW. Which means your claim is either a lie or a product of stupidity.
