I hope that was a typo, island *of*? Venice. Because Murano is an island itself just off the coast of Italy just north of Venice. My family is from the Sicilian Island from the town of Palermo. My Grandmother's family traveled to the US right before she was born and so, we've went back and visited Italy a few times since I've been born. Visiting Venice and Murano ofcourse. And while I remember the glass blowers shop, I was only 16 last time we went, I don't remember seeing this fish. Or for that matter any fish glass blowing at all. As far as I remember (I'll call my mom to check this fact by looking at the pictures) most of the glass work was much smaller - aka - cups, bowls, vases, things of that nature. Ofcourse, I'm not calling you liar by any means. Just wondering if that was a typo. On a side note: Ramah, you wouldn't happen to be Sojon would you?
Draw your own inference: Blue Marlin 1 shot blue Curacao 1 shot light rum 4 oz lemon-lime mix Named for the Marlin Hotel, this drink is "shaken wildly" with ice and strained into a chilled martini glass.
Taxidermy has long evolved from the old "stuffing" method of preserving the skin and filling it with excelsior. In all likelihood the mount on your wall is a replica with the only connection to your fish being the measurements.
Scary...I was just wondering about the wingman on the anniversary of Katrina. He was a good poster on here. Of course, you people must have said ramah more than 3 times and he came back...
you had to know the turd in the punchbowl would float to the top whenever football season started. why wait this long k-weenie, a.k.a. ramah? knew the tigers would win the first 2 easily? wanted your prophecy to have a 50/50 chance of success? the one thing walter mitty has on you is a positive attitude.
No! As you seem quasi-literate (unlike much of the idjuts here ... hey Sabanfan, the fish isn't on my wall, huh, try reading with your eyeballs that have glasses on) I'll try to splain it again. Murano is one the islands of Greater Venice. You get there by Water Taxi or Vaporetto or boat over the big lagoon. Venice is made of several islands (you can see 'em all in St. Mark's Tower). Murano Glassworks Factory Salesroom has an abundance of amazing Glass Art ... some even much bigger than my 4 foot tall Blue Marlin. The Chandeliers they have there for sale at $50,000. Yeah, they have glasses and bowls and other smaller glass art (for all pocketbook sizes). They have slick salesmen there, they wheel and deal and take your last euro from you. http://fossilflyimports.stores.yahoo.net/artglass.html These jerkoffs in here need to e-mail them and send them my Blue Marlin Pic and request a price quote on one about 4 feet high ... LOL. They'll prolly try to screw you for about $20,000 on it. Their cost ... about two weeks of work and $ 3000 USD at the most
Hey, Gump ... this is a reading comprehension test Instructions ... Read the Paragraph below ... I'll bet you don't have the 75 IQ Forrest had ... Didn't his maw have to "hump the principal" to get him into school. Who'd your maw have to hump? 2. My Glass BLUE Marlin has since been joined by my REAL BLUE MARLIN ... caught off the coast of Cozumel in 2005. He's stuffed & in my office now, a real beauty ... LOL, jk, we caught two Blues ... both released at the side of the boat ...
Sorry, Jethro, but my read is that you're saying you caught the fish and it's in your office. You may want to look into a creative writing course.
