If I were that commentator, I would have said: "Well, Billy, since there is a relatively equal chance that they will play LSU in the SECCG, do you think the same would apply? That may be even more impressive, given how difficult it is to beat a high caliber SEC team twice in the same season."
Just now on ESPN 2, Buffalo-Bowling Green game, the commentator was speaking on Ingram's Heisman chances. He said he's still got games to prove himself against LSU, Auburn, and then the SEC title game. Do these dip$hits even follow college football, or stop watching after game one?
I get this thread. Somehow Bama has been ordained the SEC West champs. But maybe some of you are being just a bit over-sensitive about this? After all, they have proven themselves on defense. And most of us agree that defenses win championships. It's kinda silly for the talking heads to crown them early. But Bama is clearly the favorite to win the SEC West.
