1. Yes, I will stick by my source that he has not gotten the written contract yet.
  2. Ok Ok...I'm here now, you can bring out the real info.

    GIVE IT TO ME!
  3. Mmm-mmm, I'm lovin' it! :thumb:
  4. 'Getting' the offer and receiving an official, written offer are different. No coach/agent combo these days are ever surprised by what's written on the paper contract. The details are completely discussed beforehand. Saban got an offer from Miami in terms of getting all the parameters they were offering - and he could have genuinely not been completely happy with the terms (or the level of detail). Which would mean further negotiating (which obviously happened or is happening now).

If he gets a written contract proposal tommorrow morning, it will have not 1 item in it that he was not already aware of. That doesn't mean he has necessarily made a decision one way or another. It is entirely possible to know exactly what option A is, and what option B is...and still not make a decision until the final hours. I went through this before with a job offer, it wasn't because I didn't know all the details of the job offer, I was just torn by the decision I had to make and wasn't 100% sure which way to go.
  5. ...and this scenario would mesh nicely with Huizenga's comments about wanting to talk to Nick about something they didn't discuss last week (i.e., modifications to the original offer).
  6. WJBO backing off their earlier comments that there is a press conference tomorrow.
  7. doh you quoted me so fast you missed my edit!
  8. Good Lord, what next???!!!
  9. Would be a repeat of last week then.
